BRONWYN COSGRAVE

I develop cultural partnerships for brands, including fine jewelers and landmark hotels. The projects I have realized draw upon my experience as an author, a documentary producer, curating museum shows and working closely with contemporary artists on British Vogue.

Autograph Collection

The Black List

Gunpowder & Sky

As Artistic Consultant for Marriott International’s Autograph Collection hotel group, I created and developed the Indie Film Project to partner with The Black List. This is Franklin Leonard’s annual publication of Hollywood’s most popular, unproduced screenplays. To support it, I established a residency for Black List screenwriters – including Minhal Baig, Amanda Idoko, Liz Hannah and Chiara Towne - plus initiatives at the BFI London Film Festival, the Sundance Film Festival and TIFF, in partnership with Mongrel Media and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Working with the independent global studio, Gunpowder & Sky, I instigated and curated a dedicated, digital in-room film channel. I also orchestrated sponsorship of the American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival and support for the production of Ethan Hawke’s award-winning feature, Blaze.

MARRIOT INTERNATIONAL

Cultural Gamechangers

As Marriott International merged with Starwood Hotels, I developed and chaired a series of salon-style discussions allowing its Global Officer, Brand & Marketing, Tina Edmundson, the opportunity to interface with thought-leaders including the Oscar-winning producer, James Gay-Rees, the award-winning designers, George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, the British newspaper editor, Lisa Markwell and Wallpaper* magazine’s Editor-At-Large, Suzanne Trocmé.

The Connaught

Contemporary Art

For this iconic hotel, owned and operated by Maybourne Hotel Group, I catalogued its 3,000 artworks so that their holdings - which run the gamut from a Sir Peter Lely portrait to a Damien Hirst Kaleidoscope painting - could be perceived as a collection.

Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize

As chairperson, I founded this fashion prize to heighten Dorchester Collection’s identity as an international collection of hotels and support independent designers struggling in the wake of the 2008 Financial Crisis. It was awarded to Thomas Tait and Andra Neen by judges including Manolo Blahnik, Thom Browne, Derek Blasberg, Francisco Costa, Giles Deacon, Daphne Guinness, Stephen Jones OBE, Shala Monroque and Elizabeth Saltzman.

Art At Annoushka

Over five years working with Annoushka Ducas MBE, I helped to develop the Art At Annoushka exhibition series to fuel the spirit of collaboration defining her brand. From May 2010, six Art At Annoushka exhibitions were staged by Annoushka working closely with an array of creative figures she admired, including Bouke de Vries, Roksana Ciurysek-Gedir, Rosie Emerson and Nathalie Hambro.

David Morris

The V&A

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the iconic Bond Street, London jeweller, I conducted archive work and delivered cultural strategy. This, ultimately, resulted in Yasmin Le Bon starring in its advertising campaign as well as placing David Morris designs in the V&A Museum’s Jewellery Galleries and Designing 007: Fifty Years of Bond Style.
